PRISM is the Department of Health Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Staff Group.
Main aims of the group are:
- To provide support for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered staff (LGBT)

To promote good practice in relation to LGBT issues
- To provide general advice for LGBT staff [and their managers]
- To influence policy development and implementation
- To encourage good practice in relation to HR and terms and conditions including work/life balance
- Promote equal opportunity at all levels
